Last night we experienced such a powerful moving of God's spirit in our church.
This move of God was precipitated by our young people who fasted for 24 hours from Monday evening until Tuesday evening. Fasting does some things in the spiritual realm that nothing else can do.
God despises the smell of "human flesh". I use the words "human flesh" to describe carnal thinking and living. How many times do the scriptures admonish God's people to, "cleanse yourselves", "purify yourselves", "Sanctify yourselves", and then "draw nigh"?
After a season of cleansing ourselves from the "filthiness" of the flesh, we bathe ourselves in the sweet perfume of worship and praise, then suddenly...
He is there, in the room with us!
